The rail grinder being used by SPENO track maintainence for 2 years on Kiwirail track arrived in Tauranga yard. Pictured here (at top) is the 3 grinding units, and (below) the main power drive unit. Staff were preparing the machine for testing, before rail grinding activities on the ECMT commenced. Thereafter the whole rail system is planned to be done.
