R.M. 24 rounds the curve in the Tauranga yard heading towards the Strand to drop off passengers. Mainline Steam ran a day excursion from Auckland to Matata, and return. passengers had the choice of spending time in Tauranga CBD, Kiwi 360, or travelling to Matata and return. Typical Bay weather, of course!
