CET hopper wagons sit idle in Mount Manganui yard, after Genesis decide not to import coal this winter. This was probably due to greater hydro levels and less demand for Huntly power generation. Rumour has it that this situation may continue into next winter as well. One can only wonder if these wagons may get shifted to South Island coal service. Meanwhile the 'locals' are 'tidying' them.
